Background
The globally operating Geberit Group is a European leader in the field of sanitary products. Geberit operates with a strong local presence in most European countries, providing unique added value when it comes to sanitary technology and bathroom ceramics. The production network encompasses 29 production facilities, of which 6 are located overseas. The Group is headquartered in Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland. With around 12,000 employees in around 50 countries, Geberit generated sales of CHF 3.1 billion in 2019. The Geberit shares are listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange and have been included in the SMI (Swiss Market Index) since 2012.
Range
Piping Systems comprises all piping technology found in buildings for drinking water, heating, gas and other media. Product lines for Supply Systems include:
- Geberit Mapress Stainless Steel that can be used for diverse mediums. Geberit places the highest requirements during manufacture. The high molybdenum content, as an example, ensures a particularly high corrosion resistance.
- Geberit Mapress Copper is very easy to press, the supply system can be processed quickly and reliably without soldering.
- Geberit Mapress Carbon Steel was designed for installations in which economy is of the highest priority. Available in two designs – with a cream plastic jacketing made of PP or with an outside zinc plating or optional inside and outside zinc plating for special applications.
- Geberit Mapress CuNiFe copper/nickel/iron alloy has proven itself, especially for pipelines carrying salt water and in shipbuilding.
Support
We offer specification support including take off and technical help. To support the planning process, we offer manufacturer-specific BIM data in addition to conventional CAD data. The data consists of parametric 3D models that contain article-specific meta information. This combination enables comprehensive BIM planning with Geberit products from the virtual building model to the detailed material list.
